Mamaw & Papaw

Cooper and I took a little weekend break at Mamaw and Papaw's cabin near Tenkiller Lake last weekend. Sunday happened to be their 57th wedding anniversary as well. Mamaw and Papaw are my grandparents and Cooper's great-grandparents, so of course we can get them to do just about anything we ask....so, I talked them into taking some pictures. I really enjoyed it and I think they did, too! How cute are they after 57 years!?!? I plan to do some pages in my heritage book with some of these pics and asked Mamaw to write some things about when they got married, how they met, that sort of stuff in her handwriting. I can't wait to put it all together!

LOL! I love this one...I told him to kiss her and went for it!

I think he made her blush a little and got a kick out of it (:

Of course, Cooper had to get in several of them, too

I love that they are both smiling and have their eyes open....rare photo op!

Cuteness

,
Okay, so I haven't posted in a week and A LOT has been going on and I had a few cute pictures to post, too!

Our friends, Morgan and Shawn came to visit with their twins, David and Grace on Friday. The kids had such a blast together. We all hung out at the shop and the kids played with each other and on the trucks. Dennis took the boys for a ride in the tractor, Grace wasn't as thrilled about that, though. We all went on the first boat ride of the season and ate dinner at Whitehorn Cove on the lake. Then we threw them all in the tub for a bath after it was all over. I know Cooper slept really good! So glad we got to see them!! This picture is all three of them, they wanted to sit on the swing before we went out on the boat.

I took this one of Cooper at Mamaw & Papaw's cabin last week, he has so much fun exploring and playing outside with Papaw

Fishies! On Mother's Day, we had lunch with the rest of the Rains crew and in-laws at Western Hills Guest Ranch in Sequoyah State Park. To get there, you have a really nice scenic drive and there is a nature center in the park. I just had to go since it was open and Cooper thought it was pretty neat, too.

At the "Cabinet"

I'm a little behind, so bear with me! Cooper was off at Kid's Day Out last Thursday because of Fall Break and it turned out, we were actually able to take a little break, so we visited Mamaw & Papaw at the "cabinet", as I used to call it when I was little, we stayed Thursday night and came home Friday. Actually, it's the cabin and Cooper loves going up there, it's about 45 minutes from where we live. We brought the wagon and he got Papaw to pull him all over the place, including inside in the evening. I think Papaw enjoys the wagon as much as Cooper does. We even pulled it up and down the road to help Mamaw pick up trash. Cooper loves to be outside, he is definitely going to love living in the country!
