2 more weeks......
Due date is May 21st....hoping very much that he'd decide to get here a little sooner! As of Monday, I am dilated to four, so just that much closer to b-day. That means as soon as I feel like something is happening, I better hurry to the hospital, because once he decides to make his arrival, it may not take near as long as what Cooper did! I know that I am very blessed with this child, but I am also very tired and exhausted and ready to see him!!

Still waiting......
I am waiting sort of patiently still....I think he may just fall out! Just 3 weeks and a couple days until my due date, but I will be 37 weeks (considered full term) on Saturday and anytime after that, we are in the clear according to the doc....Maybe a Mother's Day baby??

Counting Down
Well, it's been a while since I posted last, but I've been a little occupied preparing for baby and trying to stay awake and muster enough energy to play with Cooper, too. We are getting closer and closer!! I only have about 4 1/2 weeks until my due date, but after Monday's OB appointment, we may not make it quite that long, though at this point, you never know. All I know is that I am ready when he is, because I am very exhausted and uncomfortable, and did I mention uncomfortable?? I am already dilated to 3, baby is head down, and dropping a bit....stay tuned.

30th Birthday
I am now 30 and I am not completely insane (yet)!! I celebrated the big 3-0 pretty much all week even though my birthday was on the 1st. I got the chance to go to Oklahoma City to a fundraiser luncheon with my friend, Morgan at which Ree Drummond-(The Pioneer Woman) was guest speaker!! And since I love her blog and enjoy her humor, I was of course, thrilled and had a wonderful time!! Ree, was, as expected, a great storyteller and I'm not so sure the country club ladies were quite prepared for her humor, especially when she spouted off a story involving, and I quote, "calf nuts", but I nearly peed my pants laughing so hard! I remembered to bring her books that I had finally managed to purchase the week before, not sure if she was signing or not, and as luck would have it, she did sign afterwards and I had my picture taken with her. Then, I immediately looked like a complete idiot by dropping everything I was holding all over the floor next to her....real smooth. If I wasn't 7 months pregnant and understandably a complete clutz, I probably would have been very embarrassed!
My dear husband called friends and family and took it upon himself to plan a little party for me last night! He cooked steak and I got to be on the other side of partying for a change...everyone made me sit and I just watched from prep to clean up and enjoyed visiting with everyone to celebrate....it was wonderful!!! I don't really feel 30 and I remember always thinking how old that seemed when my mom turned 30, now it's my turn! I think I am a grown up now!!
