SOLD!

Well, we have big news! We have sold our house, we will close somewhere around May 28th! We are hoping to get our shop built soon so that we will be able to store things there and build living quarters to stay in until we get ready to build our house. How exciting and a little scary!!
Here are some cute new pics of Cooper. He is sleeping in the top one, he has all kinds of ways he sleeps, but this is the newest and so cute. He is getting soooo big! He will be seven months old on Sunday, I can't believe how fast it goes by! We are just having so much fun with him, he has quite the little personality shining through more and more every day.

New News

Cooper had his first overnight stay this weekend! He stayed at Nana & Poppy's Friday night and he had so much fun. I think he was not ready to go home! The slide show has some pictures we had taken about a month ago and a few I took last week of him at home with Harry dog.
I enjoyed going to Mary Kay Career Conference over the weekend, here in Tulsa, I learned a lot and had a lot of fun girl time!

Happy Easter

Well, it's been quite a busy Easter weekend. We took Cooper on his very first camping trip (unless you count the ones we went on when I was pregnant). We didn't go too far, just to Keystone State Park in Sand Springs and our new camping buddies came from Pawnee. We were thrilled to have someone to go with and they have a little boy that is 18 months, so he and Cooper were just fascinated with each other. Dad, Nancy, Marie, Ryan, and Grange came out for burgers Friday night since we were only about 5 miles from Dad's house. Cooper didn't know quite what to think about all his new surroundings, but he got right at home pretty fast.
Mamaw and Papaw came to visit after church this evening, and Cooper was in such a good mood for them and just giggling away for Papaw. We just have so much fun with that little kid! He really reminds me that God is good all of the time. Happy Easter!

What's Up

Cooper is already 6 months old! He had his 6 month check up and immunizations today, he weighs 16 lbs. and he's 26 1/4 inches long. He is really growing! He is rolling around really good now and it won't be long before he figures out how to crawl. I'm already starting to slowly get things baby-proofed and have gates ready to put up. He's not sitting up on his own quite yet, but getting there, he sure likes to sit where he can see the world better. It's just something new everyday with him and so much fun! His cousin, Chloe and Aunt Sasha came to visit yesterday and he had fun watching Chloe run around and didn't quite know what to think about her squeezing his cheeks and giving him kisses. Needless to say, he took a good nap after playing with her.

I had a very nice birthday on the 1st. It was sooooooo much better than last year and I was so thankful that we could celebrate without spending the day at a hospital. Dennis had a bout of bronchitis last week, but he's doing much better and we are looking forward to our first spring camping trip this weekend if the weather permits, that is. It has been pouring buckets nearly nonstop here since last night. Hope we don't wash away!

Hope you all have a wonderful and blessed Easter!

Happy Leap Day!

It's Leap Year! Happy February 29th!

I thought I would post a few things today. These are some pictures I've taken in the last couple of weeks. Cooper has really taken to rolling over and I never know how I'm going to find him in the morning. As you can see, today he had his feet hanging out of between the slats on his bed and he's always happy in the morning. So is his mommy when he sleeps from 8-8! He "scooches" around a lot now and he can lift his little butt in the air, so it won't be long before he figures out he can crawl. He makes lots of noises now, the latest is blowing raspberries, which is just hilarious!! We're finding out he's pretty ticklish and laughs and wiggles when you get the tickle spots. We are having lots of fun! Also, I was able to get a rare shot of Harry before he decided to follow me around and leave his perch on the back of the chair. Sometimes I think that dog is part cat!

Last weekend we went to visit Morgan, Shawn, and the kids for a suprise birthday party for Shawn's 30th. I think it was a really good suprise for him. We were so happy to see them and Cooper always enjoys watching David and Grace play. I know he'll be happy when he's chasing them around.

I have some kind of yucky sick stuff, but seem to be doing a bit better this afternoon than I was last night and this morning. The good news is that it's not flu, I went to the doc to make sure. Tomorrow is my birthday, so hopefully I won't be feeling all cruddy still and poor Dennis won't be sleeping on the couch again to avoid catching my crud. At least this year's birthday is looking to be a lot better than last year.

New Additions to the Blog

I've put some new links on the blog page to some of my favorite things. I like new and easy recipes, there are some good ones on the Kraft site- we tried 'Gram's Chicken pot pie made over' and 'Shipwreck dinner' a couple weeks ago and they both got the Dennis seal of approval. I love Rachael Ray and there are some cool things on her site. Etsy is a neat one with lots of handmade items of all sorts, most of which are not extremely expensive, neat ideas for gifts or inspiration to make your own stuff. There is also a family and friends list of blogs and websites, if you have one to add, let me know. Hope you enjoy these little additions as much as I do!!

Five Months & Rollin'

Cooper is five months old!! He rolled over for the first time today!! He did it about three times while playing on the floor today, rolling from his back to his belly and over again. He's been wiggling all over quite a bit, I never know what kind of position I'll find him in when I go in his room in the morning, sometimes he's in a completely different direction from where he started and when playing on the floor he can wiggle anywhere. He is really liking baby food, as you can see, he is eating his first veggie- squash. We went to a play date with our Stay-at-home moms group (SAHM) yesterday at the indoor playground at the mall. This was our first one, he really enjoyed watching all the kids play and he loves to ride around in the stroller and I enjoyed meeting some new people and socializing some, too. Oh, we are just having so much fun!!
