Goin' Up!

Our building is really progressing now! Windows are supposed to be installed tomorrow, hopefully and the shop is on schedule to be finished by the end of next week!! That is, as long as everything stays on track.

Poor Harry Dog

Our Harry Dog had to have surgery yesterday to remove a mass on his chest. As you can see, it looks pretty scary, but he seems to be coping well. He also had his teeth cleaned (can you believe they do this for dogs?!?) and had to have two extracted- ouch! Harry is a "pound puppy" so we are guessing he is 10-11 years old, so he's doing pretty well for an old guy.

I know, I could do another post for this, but it's short, so here you are: things are looking good for Aunt Mary and Uncle Glen, thanks for keeping them in your prayers!

Big Boy

I know, I'm always posting Cooper pics, but I just can't help it!! I just get so many cute ones! (I'm not partial or anything) He makes me smile, so thought I'd share and he can make you smile, too! This is his camera pose, I think he's trying to practice his "I didn't do it" face.

Cooper just seems to be getting so big so fast! He now wants to not only let you brush his teeth, he has to do it, too.

He loves to feed himself, although he's a bit picky sometimes. This was his first PB sandwich with jelly, he loved it! This was the only thing I could get him to eat last night!

Cooper's First Haircut

Before- He thought the chair was cool

Cooper got his very first hair cut yesterday. He looks so big now! He started out fine, but he got impatient and unhappy by the time it was almost over, but he did really well. Here are some pics:

Moving Dirt

Dennis managed to borrow the dozer and the operator this weekend, so they have been working on filling in the low spot in the front corner of our property near the intersection of the roads. They had moved and piled a lot of dirt from doing the pad, so they have knocked those piles down and are filling in with that dirt, sloping it to drain off, so we won't have a low spot there anymore-Yay! So, now, what will be our front yard, is looking much larger than it did before and it's really improved the appearance of the property.

Christmas Cactus??

I still haven't figured out why it's called a "Christmas Cactus", it's finished blooming before Christmas and it's not really a cactus at all. Who knows??

I love my plants and I can't wait til I have flower beds again, but I have a lot of indoor plants. With the threat of a frost last week, I brought them all back inside after a nice spring and summer they had to soak up the sunshine. This is one of my favorites, because it always blooms shortly after it's time to bring it in, so I get to watch it bloom more closely. As you can see, it's just starting to really come on and there are three different colors in this one pot (I put three small plants in it about 5 years ago).

Happy Halloween!

I know, I totally missed doing this one on Halloween. Cooper and I had planned to hand out candy, but we didn't end up having any trick-or-treaters that night!! I think the football game interfered a bit, which was fine, because Cooper wasn't really into it. The KDO group did trick-or-treat on Thursday, but it was too warm for his costume, so I dressed him up Friday and put him in the wagon for pictures. Isn't he cute!?!
