Okay, I keep forgetting to take my camera out to take some pictures, but it's really coming along! The painting is pretty much finished, just a few touch ups and cutting in left to finish. The kitchen cabinets are hung and some of the doors. The ceiling fans and some of the lights are installed, we can actually flip the switch for lights now!
Dennis and I went to Lowe's yesterday while Cooper was at KDO and we picked up our trim, baseboards, tile, door knobs, and a few other things. It doesn't take much to make me feel important, I guess, because I was pretty proud of myself for getting all the door knobs myself, making sure they all matched and I double checked my list to get the right ones. (Told you, it really doesn't take much. At least I feel like I made a contribution besides just picking colors.
This weekend, the heat/air guys and electrician are coming out to finish up their stuff. Hopefully, in a week or so, we'll have floors done and be ready for plumbers to finish. It's really looking like a house now! I am getting so impatient now, it's just so close!!
